WEFUNK International successes over the past two decades have earned the company the nickname “Purveyors of Funky Music”. What was begun as a vehicle for Parliament-Funkadelic Singer, Songwriter, and Producer Michael “Clip” Paynes solo projects has transformed into WEFUNK AD2k Records and Filmworks. A full service production house that handles all aspects of studio and live music production.

WEFUNK’s staff of Producers, Songwriters, Singers and Studio musicians, have collaborated with a who’s who of International Artists including George Clinton, Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gap Band, LadySmith Black Mambazo, and Bootsy Collins.

Our artists and producers have always been on the cutting edge. Past credits include the breakout albums of International Artists MC Solaar, and Sinclair and the world wide Dance hit “D’ur D’e’tre Baby” by Jordy. The trend continued with the success of this years critically acclaimed Techno/funk crossover hit album by French DJ Alex Gopher, “You My Baby and I” a Solid/V2 record release. The second WEFUNK/Solid/V2 venture by DJ Etiene De Crecy “Tempovision” is scheduled to be released this winter.
